Unlock Your UK Pension

Windsor Pensions represents several EU based QROPS (Qualifying Recognised Overseas Pension Schemes) that can receive transfers from UK pension providers

The procedure is fairly simple and straightforward:

Letter of Authority1.    The client completes and signs the Letter of Authority that gives Windsor Pensions permission to request the transfer value and transfer forms on their behalf. It should be e-mailed to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or faxed to 1 866 400 3352 (US) or 0203 014 8447 (UK).

Pension Scheme Response2.    Windsor Pensions then contacts the UK pension provider and requests the current transfer value & transfer forms. The UK pension provider will send the current transfer value and transfer forms; this usually takes 2-3 weeks.

The transfer forms have three parts:

(a)    Policyholder request and authority to transfer.
(b)    Policyholder lifetime allowance declaration.
(c)    QROPS information and declaration.

Transfer Value3.    When the current transfer value has been confirmed by the UK pension provider, Windsor Pensions and the client sign a Letter of Engagement/Fee Agreement. This details the services that Windsor Pensions will provide and the fee that the client agrees to pay for the transfer.

QROPS Forms4.    Windsor Pensions sends parts (a) & (b) of the transfer forms to the client, with completed examples for them to follow. The QROPS administrator completes and signs part (c). The client mails the completed parts (a) & (b) back to Windsor Pensions. We then send all of the forms to the UK pension provider.

Pension Transfer5.    Processing usually takes 1-3 weeks. The UK pension provider then transfers the fund to QROPS.
